Community Events, Get a Grant
Community events start with a Coloring Party Book Box.
The box contains the three book set of the Women of Color and Accomplishment series. Each of these books contains 31 colorful portraits of the women overlooked by history books plus their stories.
Teaching Black History Through Art which is an art exhibit that combined the portraits painted by Carol Jacobsen plus student colorings of those portraits and student essays about each woman.
It also has two different coloring books, line drawings from those books for ease of colorings that can be mounted for an exibit. And four 4 x 5″ cards with the portrait of a woman on the front side, and her story plus three facts to be used to faciliate teaching the students about the women they are coloring.

Exhibits can be in a gallery, church, or school. Contact us if you want to hold an exhibit.
